Day 37

December 7, 2018: Holy Crap A Portable Toilet

No matter how awesome a person is, never ever forget that they are human and yes… they shit. I have that at the back of my mind so whenever someone does something “shocking” I don’t get shocked. I just remind myself that the person is a human being and they are fallible. It’s all good. Can we fix things and move on? #MyBlackOutPoems @centrefora

Day 36

December 6, 2018: Concerns From The Community Favour Thursday

The community matters so it is essential and important to make sure that you always, always, always contribute to the community you are in. #MyBlackOutPoems @centreforarttapes

Day 35

December 5, 2018: Let’s Not Go Overboard It’s Only Wednesday.

It’s just another day, don’t go crazy. Take it in its stride. Learn something new. Do something nice for someone. Give a hug. Give someone a reason to smile. It’s just one more day on this planet… make it count! #MyBlackOutPoems @centreforarttapes

Day 34

December 4, 2018: Intellectual And Vulnerable

Being vulnerable can be scary as fuck but if you want a relationship that matters, you have to pull down your laser fences and let the person in. They have to know you, the real you and decide if they want you and your dog then you can build from there. #MyBlackOutPoems @centreforarttapes

Day 33

December 3, 2018: Accommodate Him.

It is important to try to be as accommodating as you can. Understand this: We are all different and we all like different things. So, just because someone isn’t into that show you are or loves the type of songs you do doesn’t mean they should be cut out of your life. Learn as much as you can from the people you meet. They might just change your life. #MyBlackOutPoems @centreforarttapes

Day 32

December 2, 2018: Two Words Describe It “Unethical And Cruel”.

Sometimes we forget that we are human and we do cruel things. Don’t get shocked when any human being does anything. Expect everything from everyone that way no matter what that person does, you’ll be all good and your response will be “it’s ok, they are human”. #MyBlackOutPoems @centreforarttapes

Day 31

December 1, 2018: She Watched Him Go.

“If you love something let it go…” I never bought into this. Why let the go and wait for the person to come back? If I love someone, I make sure they know, I show them in my actions and if they do want to go, it isn’t because I let them go, it is because that’s what they want. When I’m in, I’m in. #MyBlackOutPoems @centreforarttapes

Day 30

November 30, 2018: A Tearful Goodbye

I hate goodbyes. I hate endings but I also know that for something great to begin, something else has to end. Goodbyes might suck but they also sometimes lead to awesome new things. #MyBlackOutPoems @centreforarttapes

Day 29

November 29, 2018: Two Steps Forwards And 10 Steps Backwards.

If I am slipping backwards more than I am moving forward.  I might need to go back to the drawing board and check out my current strategy or it might mean I am barking up the wrong tree and if I am, it means I need to retrace my tracks and find a better route or goal. #MyBlackOutPoems @centreforarttapes

Day 28

November 28, 2018: Our Balls Are Bigger.

Do you want to make that dream a reality? Well… grow bigger balls. Also, balls has nothing to do with gender. It just means… suck it up and do the work you have to do to get to where you want to. #MyBlackOutPoems @centreforarttapes
