Day 16

November 16, 2018: No New Resolve For These Leaders.

Campaigns are fun because people speak out of their butts. They promise everything and then get into the office only to maintain the status quo. Thankfully there are leaders that say they’ll do something and then do it. @justintpjtrudeau #MyBlackOutPoems @centreforarttapes

Day 14

November 14, 2018: Women Can Change This.

I have been blessed to have powerful women in my life and to understand that they don’t need saving or to be spoken up for. They can do that all on their own. All I can do is call out members of my gender when they are being assholes. Women have got this. #MyBlackOutPoems @centreforarttapes

Day 13

November 13, 2018: “Aeroplan” Offended Customers.

Customers are finicky. It takes one tiny thing to lose your base. However, if you keep your promise and deliver every single time, you will retain your customers. I guess what I’m saying is you keep or lose your customers by what you do and how you treat them. #MyBlackOutPoems @centreforarttapes

Day 12

November 12, 2018: Madikizela-Mandela Was Jailed For Two Weeks While Pregnant.

South Africa is a beautiful country especially the city of Cape Town. It’s kinda crazy when you read of the history and what black people went through. Crazy! #MyBlackOutPoems @centreforarttapes

Day 10

November 10, 2018: Our Kids Little Shits.

Kids are interesting… that is all I’ll say about that… for now. Well, you can also DM to discuss further. Yes, your “fur-babies” too are little shits. #MyBlackOutPoems @centreforarttapes

Day 9

November 9, 2018: The Need Is Against The Law.

Before weed was legal it was illegal to smoke it. There are things that help some people but aren’t legal to do. Yet. #MyBlackOutPoems @centreforarttapes

Day 8

November 8, 2018: I Want To Live In Spryfield. Almost.

It’s just a few minutes from one of my favourite beaches: Crystal Crescent. It has amazing people yet stories like this make me say… Almost: Blaine Clothier’s body was discovered in an apartment building on Autumn Drive in Spryfield on March 2. He had been stabbed and killed. #MyBlackOutPoems @centreforarttapes
